Privacy Policy

Interim notice. This website is currently in development and testing. Enquiry forms on this site are temporarily routed to LiviCode Tech Solutions Ltd (the developer building this site) at info@livicode.com, via a third-party form-delivery service, FormSubmit — not yet to Bemi's own team or her representatives, Cadence Talent. This will change before the site launches, and this page will be updated when it does.
Who we are
This website is operated on behalf of Bemi Orojuogun, known publicly as "Bus Aunty" ("we", "us", "her"). The site was built and, at the time of writing, is maintained by LiviCode Tech Solutions Ltd. For all commercial partnerships, press and booking matters, Bemi is represented by Cadence Talent.
What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, through two forms on this site:
- Media Kit Request form — your name, company or publication, work email address, and an optional message about what you're hoping to explore.
- "Say hi" fan note form — your email address only.
We do not collect payment details, and we do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind (see "Cookies and local storage" below).
How we use it, and on what basis
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry — for example, to send a media kit, discuss a partnership, or reply to a friendly note. Our legal basis for this is legitimate interest: responding to enquiries people have deliberately sent us. We do not use your details for marketing emails, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — the third-party service that relays form submissions from this static website to an email inbox. It processes the data only to deliver it; see their own privacy policy for details.
- LiviCode Tech Solutions Ltd — currently receives form submissions at info@livicode.com as an interim measure while this site is being built and tested (see the notice above).
- Cadence Talent — Bemi's representatives for commercial, partnership, press and booking matters. Enquiries relevant to them will be shared once the form routing above is finalised.
We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not transfer it outside the UK/EEA beyond what's required for the services listed above to function.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry submissions only for as long as needed to respond to you and keep a reasonable record of the conversation, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Cookies and local storage
We ourselves do not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. Our own use of your browser's local storage is limited to one thing: remembering the choice you make in the cookie banner (accepted / rejected), so we don't ask again on every visit. If we add analytics in future, it will only run after you've actively accepted, and this policy will be updated first.
The Video Wall on this site embeds real TikTok and Instagram posts. Because that content belongs to those platforms, we don't load it (or their cookies) until you've said yes — either via the cookie banner, or the "show this video" button on an individual video, which accepts on the same sitewide basis as the banner does. Once you accept, those platforms may set their own cookies and collect data about your visit in ways we don't control. That's governed by TikTok's and Instagram/Meta's own privacy policies, not this one — you can always use the "View directly on TikTok/Instagram" link on each card instead, which takes you to their app or site rather than loading anything here.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (access)
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data (rectification)
- Ask us to delete your data (erasure)
- Object to how we're using your data, or ask us to restrict it
- Ask for your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site develops — particularly once form submissions move from the interim arrangement described above to their final destination. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
